What’s Included in the Academic Excellence Programme

The Academic Excellence Programme provides far more than weekly tuition. Each student receives a structured, personalised programme designed to strengthen subject knowledge, develop exam technique, build accountability and drive measurable progress towards their target grade.

Weekly 60-Minute Private Tuition

A focused 1:1 session each week, tailored to the student’s specification, current performance, schoolwork and academic goals.

Ongoing Accountability

Completion of independent work is monitored so that students remain consistent, organised and responsible for their own progress between lessons.

Monthly Parent Progress Report

Parents receive a clear overview of academic progress, effort, task completion, current priorities and the next steps in the student’s development.

Initial Diagnostic Assessment

Each student begins with a detailed review of their current strengths, weaknesses and areas for improvement, creating a clear starting point for the programme.

Weekly Examiner-Style Feedback

One submitted piece of exam-style work is formally marked each week, with written feedback returned within three working days and clear guidance on how to improve.

Monthly Parent Consultation

A dedicated 15-minute consultation provides an opportunity to discuss progress, upcoming assessments, concerns and the strategy for the month ahead.

Priority Messaging Support

Students and parents can ask academic questions between sessions, helping them resolve difficulties quickly rather than waiting until their next lesson.

Personalised Academic Roadmap

A structured plan outlining the student’s target grade, key development areas and the academic priorities that will guide their progress throughout the programme.

Targeted Exam Technique Support

Students learn how to approach different question types, meet assessment objectives, structure high-level responses and avoid the mistakes that commonly cost marks.

Personalised Revision & Exam Planning

Revision is carefully structured around mock examinations, final examinations and school deadlines, helping students prepare systematically rather than relying on last-minute revision.

Continually Adapted Programme

The programme evolves as the student progresses, with teaching, tasks and priorities adjusted according to assessment performance, school feedback and upcoming examinations.

Tailored Weekly Study Tasks

Students receive carefully selected independent tasks between sessions, designed to reinforce learning, address weaknesses and prepare for upcoming assessments.

Monthly Progress Assessment

A regular assessment is used to measure progress, identify remaining gaps and ensure the programme continues to focus on the areas that will have the greatest impact.

Curated Academic Resources

Students receive access to carefully selected revision materials, model responses, exam questions and resources matched to their individual needs.

12-Week Programme Commitment

The Academic Excellence Programme is delivered in 12-week blocks, providing the consistency and time required to identify areas for development, build stronger academic habits and make measurable progress towards the student’s goals. Progress is reviewed at the end of each block before the next stage of the programme is agreed.

Please note: Every student is different. The Academic Excellence Programme can be adapted in consultation with parents and students to reflect individual goals, priorities and support requirements.

Complimentary Initial Consultation

Before joining the Academic Excellence Programme, parents and students are invited to a complimentary introductory call. This provides an opportunity to discuss the student’s current position, academic goals, areas of concern and what support would be most beneficial. It also ensures the programme is the right fit before any commitment is made.

Apply for Specialist Academic Support
